We are dominated by our minds, our thoughts and external communication most of the time. The Retrograde is a time period to rest, relax and tune out the noise.

The next three weeks are an amazing time to re-evaluate what exists in exaggeration and what is essential in our lives; what is taking us deeper into our path, and what is taking us away from it.

Mercury Retrograde meets Jupiter Retrograde in the axis of Gemini and Sagittarius, reminding us that we are living in a world where everyone can have their own opinion, asking us to be accepting and adaptive in our relationships during this time – without, however, losing track of our own truth and clarity.

Use this time to identify what is outdated, what no longer works, or simply, what does not fit you anymore. It’s a great time to get familiar with the concept of endless change, and prepare psychologically for your new chapter.

Especially in the beginning of December, we want to be very mindful and diligent about our words, what we are saying and how we express ourselves. Saturn can make us feel un-grounded, so taking some time to “return back to reality” and earth ourselves can activate Saturn’s blessings in the midst of this Retrograde. Focus on your long-term priorities, even if you don’t have all the specifics to a matter.

Last but not least, Mercury Retrograde is possibly the best teacher when it comes to drawing a boundary. During this time, practice taking a rightful distance, tell people what you need (or don’t need), and embody a healthy detachment style.

During this time, something reaches completion. This Retrograde is helping us to let go and move on. This year, the fire element comes with the medicine, making the days ahead therapeutic, even cathartic. If you feel exhausted, that’s normal; replenish with plenty of rest, self-care and relaxation.
