Good things are coming – shifting out of a negative reality

When life tests us, we usually forget that we used to have fun and good days before – and that, so, we can have find these again. Maybe things haven’t been going on for months, or even years and we’re starting to think that good things can happen only to other people; but not to us.

Right off the bat, it is completely normal to find ourselves stuck in life – there are positive, as much as there are negative versions of our reality. But that is the same exact thing that can make it so easy to jump from one reality to another, with a little bit of intention, and a dash of effort.

For every negative reality we experience, in this dual world, there’s one positive reality meant for us and for us only. For every low there is a high, and vice versa. The easiest way to tap into a better, or positive reality is through spirituality – meditation, books, prayer and enhancing of our faith.

We can jump from one reality to another by the art of “gardening”: gardening truth, integrity, faith, self-care and self-love. We do so by going out of our way to perform small acts of love and kindness for others, as well. We jump realities when we make time to play, create something for the sake of creating, and rest. We also do so by building positive values, affirmations and beliefs.

As we garden our newly-found reality, reality responds back to us with more of what we’re pouring into it. The contrast will still be there, but we’ll be getting so many signs and affirmations that what we’re doing is working – enough for us to shift our perspective and start viewing our world as positive, once again, or for what can feel as the very first time.

Pain is comfortable, but at the end of the day we don’t like it – we look back at times when our world was negative and we low-key despise these times, wishing to never go through them again. It’s our comfort and attachment to pain that actually prolongs these periods of time and turns them into months or years of dissatisfaction.

That being said, our challenges are exactly what we need, each and every time, in order to grow. In the journey of re-finding ourselves and our sense of joy and happiness, we shape and we shift – we grow, we expand, we learn and un-learn; eventually, we blossom. Much like flowers that can grow everywhere – in a garden, or through concrete, we too are shaped by our happiness, and also, our misery. We have the capacity to blossom through both ease and hardship, and this is one of our gifts.

If you don’t like where you are, start by pinpointing your attachment to pain – re-learn what it feels like to be and feel comfortable in joy, instead of hurt. You don’t have to fill yourself up with all these expectations that life will only be easy and fun from now and on. But don’t prolong your pain just because it felt easier to carry. It’s only then that we can begin shaping our realities the way we want to.

And if you find yourself stressing about how you can shift energetically from one reality to another, remember once again – the way out is through; use the physical and spiritual world you already possess, in order to work your way out of a negative reality, energetically speaking. Everything is a cycle – if you feel you’re at a low, the only way is up.

And if you feel too tired to start gardening right away, carry this little reminder with you – the moment we realize and accept our rock bottom, our rock bottom transforms into a high, all by itself. Be grateful for the prayers that have already manifested in your life. You can always start there.
